- Cara Added April 21, 2023★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I frequent Foodworks at least 3 or 4 times a week as a local resident and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. However today I waited for a couple of minutes at the deli whilst the 3 lazy teenagers looked over and seen me there whilst all giggling, fumbling about waiting to see how long it would take for me to ask for assistance. Really disappointed with how I wad treated today and the disrespect that was shown by the young girl and two boys who all thought they were so funny being ignorant. I then ask for 3 items from the deli, she gives me two (not listening) and then asks if I want a plastic carry bag, I said no and she still gives me one and charges me for it - so ignorant. At this point I had given in to the utter disrespect, arrogance and ignorance and had no interest in rousing on a pubescent uninterested teen.
Thus writing this review in hopes that the 3 culprits get a firm speaking to before you lose a loyal customer base that has taken years to build.
All the other staff I have encountered have always been wonderful and a breath of fresh air when you have a chat at the counter, just so disappointed by these disrespectful, lazy teens. - Emma Wu Added April 20, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Convenient little supermarket with the everyday essentials. My favourite part is that this grocery closes rather late especially during public holidays which is super helpful for last minute essentials. But you do pay for a slightly higher price for that.
